FreedomDev is a custom software company at 201 W. Washington Ave, Suite 210, Zeeland, MI 49464. Our website is https://www.freedomdev.com. This policy explains what information we collect through the website, how we use it, and the choices you have. We serve customers in the United States.
Information you give us. When you contact us through a form, by email, or by phone, we collect what you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, company, and message. When you submit a form, we also record your IP address, browser type, the page you submitted from, and, if you accepted cookies, the campaign and ad-click details that brought you to the site.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, we and our service providers collect your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the site that referred you, and similar usage data. This happens through cookies and similar technologies.
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. We use them to remember your choices, understand how the site is used, and measure our advertising.
When you first visit, a banner lets you accept or decline cookies. We store your choice in a cookie, and the banner does not appear again unless you delete the cookies for our site. Our analytics and advertising tags load only after you accept, except Leadfeeder, described below. If your browser has JavaScript turned off, a Google Tag Manager frame and a Meta image load without asking, because the banner needs JavaScript. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you do, some parts of the site may not work as intended.
| Service | Provider | What it does | When it loads |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Tag Manager | Manages the other tags on the site | After you accept cookies | |
| Google Analytics | Reports on site traffic and how visitors use the site | After you accept cookies | |
| Google Ads tag | Measures and remarkets our ads | After you accept cookies | |
| Meta Pixel | Meta | Measures and remarkets our ads on Facebook and Instagram | After you accept cookies |
| Leadfeeder | Leadfeeder | Identifies the businesses that visit the site, for business-to-business sales and marketing | The script loads on every page. Leadfeeder's analytics cookies are set only after you accept. If you decline, it stores one cookie that records your choice. |
| Calendly | Calendly | Lets you book a call with us | When you click a scheduling button |
| Hosting | Netlify | Hosts and delivers the site | Always |
Google advertising and analytics. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies, including the DoubleClick cookie, to show ads based on your previous visits to our site and other sites on the internet. Google and its partners may combine first-party cookies, such as Google Analytics cookies, with third-party cookies to measure how people interact with our ads and our site. You can manage how Google personalizes ads in Google's Ad Settings (https://adssettings.google.com), opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout), or opt out of interest-based advertising through the Network Advertising Initiative (https://optout.networkadvertising.org).
Leadfeeder. Our website uses Leadfeeder, a visitor identification service, to understand which businesses visit our site. At the start of a visit, Leadfeeder processes your IP address and session data, such as the pages you visit, the files you download, and the videos you play, and matches it against a list of known companies, adding information such as the company name or industry. To increase data protection, we have turned on IP address anonymization, so that only shortened values instead of the actual IP addresses are stored. We use this for business-to-business sales and marketing and to improve our services. Leadfeeder's first-party cookies, which help analyze visitor behavior, are set only after you accept cookies. If you decline, Leadfeeder stores one cookie that records your choice. Declining cookies does not stop Leadfeeder from matching your IP address to a company. You can also use an ad blocker or a script-blocking browser extension to prevent this processing.
We share information with service providers that help us run the site and our business, such as hosting, email, analytics, advertising platforms, and visitor intelligence tools. We may also share information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, property, or safety. We may share aggregated or de-identified information that does not identify you. We do not sell your personal information for money.
We use reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypting traffic between your browser and our site with HTTPS and limiting access to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
California law requires us to describe how we handle tracking. You can visit the site without giving us personal information beyond what the cookies above collect. We allow the third-party advertising and analytics services listed above to collect information about your visit. Our response to Do Not Track signals is described under Your choices.
If a data breach affects your personal information, we will notify affected people as the law requires.
We will post any changes on this page and update the date at the top.
