FreedomDev was founded in 2017 in West Michigan with a focus on helping businesses solve practical problems through custom software and technical expertise.
Over the years, that work has expanded beyond building new applications. Today, we help companies integrate systems, modernize older software, migrate data and applications, solve database and SQL challenges, automate workflows, improve reporting, and explore practical uses for AI.
What hasn't changed is how we approach the work.

The custom software we build for you belongs to you. You own the source code and intellectual property created for your project.

FreedomDev is headquartered in the historic Colonial Clock Building in Zeeland, Michigan. We're part of a region with deep roots in manufacturing, engineering, entrepreneurship, and privately held businesses.
FreedomDev is also an InnoGroup company, giving us a firsthand connection to operating businesses and the systems they rely on — including Innotec Corp., which we proudly serve with global support.
While West Michigan is home, our software and support aren't limited to West Michigan.
